INTERACTIVE AVATARS

1 minute of uninterrupted interactive avatar streaming consumes ~40 Chatbuddy credits.

25 minutes of uninterrupted interactive avatar streaming consumes ~1,000 Chatbuddy credits.

Streaming usage is measured in seconds, with a minimum of 30 seconds per chat session. After the first 30 seconds of a chat session, streaming usage is charged for in 6 second blocks. For instance: if you chat for 45 seconds, your Chatbuddy credit usage will reflect one 30 second block plus three 6 second blocks, for a total of 48 seconds. If you chat for 2 minutes, your Chatbuddy credit usage will reflect one 30 second block and fifteen 6 second blocks, for a total of 120 seconds. The platform’s timeout logic is set at 2 minutes for conversations where users leave a chat session open but stop talking to the interactive avatar.

Credits are consumed as words are text-exchanged between the user and each AI powered bot. Credit consumption will vary based on dialogue complexity and the nature of the information requests made by users.

1,000 Chatbuddy credits can typically accommodate the exchange of 2 million words in English.

Chatbuddy is currently not intended for use by individuals who are resident in, or traveling through, the following territories: 1) The United Kingdom; 2) Switzerland; 3) the European Union; 4) OFAC sanctioned countries; 5) California; 6) Indiana; 7) Washington State; 8) Hawaii; 9) Nebraska; 10) Oklahoma and 11) South Dakota.

Our Terms of Service reference these territory restrictions. To enforce these restrictions, we leverage technology to try and prevent users from subscribing to our service using payment mechanisms that have associated addresses in restricted territories.

Additional Chatbuddy credits can be purchased in blocks of 1,000 for US$9.99.

A user’s engagement experience will be impacted by the strength of their internet connection.

For optimal performance, subscribers should use Chrome. Microphone use may be restricted on Edge, Safari and Firefox browsers.
